Airbreathing Propulsion

Ramjet-City

A ceremony to mark the opening of our new engineering and testing area in Aschau, called "Ramjet City", took place in October 2000. Ramjet City has been designed mainly for the Meteor programme.

new ramjet and conventional test units
  buildings for motor integration
  environmental and thermal simulation and
  all necessary infrastructure

Ramjet City was operational in April 2001.

Technical Highlights
